The Appaloosa Horse Club on the Rise

The new year has kicked-off to a fantastic start for the Appaloosa Horse Club(ApHC). 2014 closed with an increased number of Regional Show Approvals, and a phenomenal Stallion Service Auction that shined with promise, ended with a larger number of stallions participating and more stallions being purchased than in the previous year. These wonderful accomplishments have steamrolled the ApHC into January 2015 with a rise in membership that has not been seen in the past several years.

With the forward momentum moving at such a great pace, the ApHC could not be more thrilled to launch several new classes for its membership. New class offers include: performance halter for open mares, open stallions and open geldings, ranch pleasure, ranch trail, non-pro walk/trot figure 8 stake race, green western riding, green trail and boxing. Be sure to check the ApHC web site and preview the 2015 rulebook for complete rules for all classes (old and new) along with updated rules as approved by the ApHC Board of Directors in 2014.

In addition to new classes for members, the ApHC would also like announce its Alliance with Horse Country Campers Club (HCCC). This new Alliance allows ApHC members to receive certain perks from the HCCC when camping or trail riding all throughout the United States. For more information regarding membership, other great benefits, or in becoming an affiliated campground site through HCCC, visit www.horsecountrycampersclub.com or email questions to info@horsecountrycampersclub.com.

The ApHC is pleased to announce these changes and achievements and looks forward to a promising year. To learn about the amazing perks of ApHC membership, new classes, or partnership opportunities, visit www.appaloosa.com.

The ApHC has since registered more than 700,000 Appaloosas, which are known for their distinctive color, intelligence and even temperament. True to their reputation as an extremely versatile breed, Appaloosas can be found in nearly every discipline including racing, endurance riding and serving as reliable family horses.
