Horses4Heroes Open Houses July 26 and July 27

Saturday, July 26, is the 10th Anniversary of the National Day of the Cowboy and Horses4Heroes centers in Las Vegas, Omaha, Wareham, Massachusetts, Swansboro, North Carolina, Prescott, Arizona, Castaic and Escondido in Southern California, and Whites Creek, Tennessee, are celebrating the day and weekend with open houses that will capture the spirit of the old west and the legend of the American Cowboy.

The Horses4Heroes headquarters in Las Vegas, The Horses4Heroes Community Equestrian Center in Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs is hosting an open house from 8-11 a.m., with guided arena horseback riding, stick-horse rodeo, petting zoo and prizes for best dressed cowboy and cowgirls. For information and directions call 702-885-1943. The event is free and park admission is $6 per car.

In Swansboro, at Little Boro Farm, the open house is from 9-2, the cost is free. Raffle tickets will be sold for donated items and crafts. Refreshments will be served.

On Sunday, July 27, Horses4Heroes will ride into Nashville with a special Wild West Show for all military and their families. The show will include live cowboy music with cowboys riding in on horseback cracking whips and shooting blanks, sponsored by A COWBOY TOWN of Whites Creek, Tennessee. Owner Denise Reynolds, a 25-year member of the military, is organizing this event to show love and support for her brothers and sisters in arms. The event is free and open to anyone who wants to also show support for the Military, donations to Horses4Heroes will be accepted on site.
