Parelli Natural Horsemanship, the world’s most popular horse education at-home study program, has paired up with Roma Boots, in a meeting of organizations that share a unique dedication to making the world a better place through a variety of avenues.
Roma Boots, founded in 2010 by Samuel Bistrian, is renowned for its high-quality ladies and youth footwear. In addition to its popular retail products, Roma Boots is also well-known for its “Buy One, Give One” Donation program, in which every pair of Roma Boots sold is matched by a new pair that is donated to a child in need. Roma Boots’ mission “Giving poverty the boot” by bringing children from around the world hope, love, and lasting change through aid and education aligns perfectly with Parelli Natural Horsemanship’s core values.
“After meeting Roma Boots Founder and CEO Samuel Bistrian,” said Lana Burns, Parelli’s lead retail buyer, “we began sharing with each other the common goals and core values that tie companies like Parelli and Roma together. In particular, that our joint mission is making the world a better place: for horses, humans, and whatever it is that touches our lives each day.

To kick off their partnership, Parelli will begin by selling two pairs of Roma Boots products: a pair of ladies boots in Parelli green, and a pair of youth boots in Parelli gold, with the goal of adding additional products in the future. Roma Boots’ “Buy One, Give One” program will apply to all Roma products sold via the Parelli web shop, with an added bonus.
Every pair of Roma boots purchased from Parelli will be matched AND paired with a Parelli poncho, to be donated to a child in need. This idea came about when Bistrian noted that, when delivering boots to children around the world, he became aware that not only were many of these children lacking footwear, but also any sort of clothing to protect them from the elements. Burns and Bistrian believe that including these rain ponchos with each delivery will alleviate this issue in a meaningful way.
