Two Renowned Horse Clinicians, Monty Roberts & Charles Wilhelm, Debut New Series on HRTV

HRTV, The Network for Horse Sports, will continue to bolster its equestrian programming line-up when a pair of legendary clinicians, and longtime fixtures on the network, Monty Roberts and Charles Wilhelm, premiere exciting, new series in the weeks ahead.

“Backstage Pass with Monty Roberts,” unveiled a new grouping of shows on Tuesday, July 29 at 9 p.m. ET, while “Charles Wilhelm’s Ultimate Foundation Horsemanship” will debut a 13-episode series, beginning on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Both Roberts and Wilhelm have been integral personalities on HRTV since the network introduced equestrian programming. Roberts was one of the first high-profile clinicians to debut on HRTV, when his initial series debuted in February, 2010. The esteemed Wilhelm first joined the network’s equestrian programming platform in October 2011.

Known as the “Man Who Listens to Horses,” Roberts will again utilize his unique Join Up training approach to present horses at various venues across England, and demonstrate how working with these equines can provide assistance to people with autism and post-traumatic stress syndrome. As always, Roberts exhibits his gentle, non-violent approach to achieve positive results.

Wilhelm’s latest series of shows takes place among the scenic vistas of picturesque Hawaii. During the series, Wilhelm utilizes his deft touch and demeanor to develop people-friendly horses from a group of horses that have suffered abuse and neglect.
