Vita Flex Offers Charity and Non-Profit Organizations a Leg Up

Vita Flex knows there is a fine line between success and failure, good and great, winning or losing. And sometimes all it takes is just one extra bit of effort, one more helping hand, to cross the line to greatness. A leading manufacturer of high quality supplements for competitive horses, Vita Flex is proud to support the equestrian community and other deserving charities through ongoing donations to organizations such as the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA), Jump for HomeSafe, the United States PRE Association(USPREA) and the Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center.

Vita Flex exceeds the highest expectations when it comes to charitable outreach, and has been busy this winter giving back through generous product donations.

“Vita Flex is pleased to be given the opportunity to contribute to the success of so many deserving organizations,” said Vita Flex representative Katie Stevenson. “It is a fantastic opportunity for us to give back to an industry that has given so much to our business, while donating our products to such worthy causes. Product donations not only support valuable organizations, but also help spread the word about our premium supplements.”

In December, Vita Flex donated a custom mounting block filled with quality supplements to the USHJA for their silent auction, held at the five-day annual meeting in Palm Springs, California. Auction items benefiting the USHJA Foundation included the Vita Flex Mounting Block, Acculytes™ electrolyte supplement, the Accel® multi-vitamin and mineral supplement, Master’s Hoof Blend™ supplement, Equinyl™ Combo for joint health, Vita-Hoof® product, and Lactanase®supplement, which helps support optimal muscle function and metabolism.

The USHJA, the official hunter/jumper affiliate of the United States Equestrian Federation, is based in Lexington, Kentucky, and serves its members through educational programs, awards and recognition, communication, and rules. Funds raised at the silent auction will assist the USHJA Foundation in supporting four areas of important charitable work: education, inspiring individuals to overcome adversity, helping members in times of need, and helping to preserve the history of the sport.

Since 1979, HomeSafe, a nationally accredited non-profit organization, has been protecting South Florida’s most vulnerable residents–victims of child abuse and domestic violence. The year 2017 marked the organization’s 7thannual Jump for Homesafe fundraising event, which Vita Flex was happy to support. Through its results-driven approach, HomeSafe has become a leading provider of prevention and intervention services, helping more than 16,000 infants, children, and families each year from 5 locations around Palm Beach County.

In honor of the Jump for Homesafe fundraiser, which took place on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Vita Flex donated a three-step mounting block brimming with a selection of the company’s signature performance products. The fundraiser featured ringside seating, open bar, dinner, silent auction, and up-close-and-personal viewing of world-ranked Grand Prix equestrian competition. A night of family fun, local residents and champion riders included Lillie Keenan, Hannah Patten, Samantha Wight, and Emma Heise who servedas co-chairs of the event.

Once again Vita Flex stepped up on January 25, by donating a mounting block and supplements to the USPRE party at the Global Pavilion in Wellington, FL for their silent auction. The USPRE’s mission statement is to celebrate and promote the versatility of the Pure Spanish Horse (P.R.E.) while nurturing the growth of the P.R.E. community within the United States. The party featured a paella dinner, Spanish music, flamenco dancers, appearances by US Olympic dressage coach Robert Dover and Spanish Olympian dressage rider Daniel Martin Dockx, as well as performances by magnificent PRE horses in the International Arena at Global.

Every year in February, the Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center, which assists individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities, holds a benefit dinner and auction to raise funds that go directly towards sharing the joy of horses. The 30th Annual Vinceremos Benefit Dinner and Auction is scheduled for Friday, February 3, 2017 at The International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington. The “three ring extravaganza” features the Buck Off Mechanical Bull Riding Championships, Thrilling Silent and Live Auction Offerings, and is a celebration of the triumphs riders and horses can share. Vita Flex will again donate a three-step mounting block, plus Victory Pass Award products including Vita Flex® Acculytes™ Powder and Paste formula, Accel® Lifetime Health and Wellness Formula, Vita-Hoof® Conditioner , and Thermaflex®Liniment and Gel.

Vinceremos is a nonprofit organization funded through the generosity of foundations, private contributions, and special events. From their 15-acre farm in Loxahatchee, the center offers equine assisted activities including therapeutic riding and carriage driving, hippotherapy, and equine assisted learning. These therapies encourage riders to build their skills as equestrians while supporting their goals to walk independently or spend time out of their wheelchair to experience natural freedom.

Backed by research from equine nutritionists, veterinarians, and scientists, Vita Flex’s popular equine health and performance supplements are endorsed by top trainers, riders, and owners that cross all disciples—from dressage, show jumpers, eventers, drivers and hunters, to halter, barrel racer, and reining world champions. Many of the riders who endorse Vita Flex® products have represented the United States at the Olympics and World Championships.

Vita Flex is a longtime supporter of the equestrian community and sponsor at shows such as the Adequan Global Dressage Festival, the Winter Equestrian Festival, the Colorado Horse Park Summer in the Rockies show series, and Dressage at Devon. Their premiere product line features wide range of antioxidants, electrolytes, joint supplements, topical ointments, vitamins, and minerals designed to help horses maintain the competitive edge necessary to cross the line between “good” into “great” for decades.
