FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — SEPT. 5, 2012 — The Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) is proud to announce that it has partnered with the Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC). Through clinics and instructional videos, Appaloosa owners, trainers and exhibitors can access the latest and best information to ensure safe riding, professionalism and quality instruction. CHA members can become eligible for the ApHC’s Saddle Log Program, which offers awards for time in the saddle on a registered Appaloosa.

“With the shared goal of providing a safe and enjoyable riding experience for people of all skill levels, we are especially enthused about working with the Certified Horsemanship Association to support CHA’s education efforts,” says Steve Taylor Chief Executive Officer of Appaloosa Horse Club.

“Many of our CHA programs, individual instructors and facilities have Appaloosa school horses and trail horses,” says Christy Landwehr, Chief Executive Officer for CHA. “This partnership will allow our associations to be able to give discounts to our members on products and services we both provide and ApHC members and those just getting started in the horse industry will have access to the CHA online directory (www.CHAinstructors.com) to help guide them to that first horse experience near them.”

The Appaloosa Horse Club, headquartered in Moscow, Idaho, is the international breed registry serving members and enthusiasts by preserving the horses’ heritage, promoting the breed and providing programs and activities to showcase the versatility of Appaloosas.
