Farnam introduces Centaura Insect Repellent for Horse and Rider, a repellent for both horse and rider that is registered in the U.S. by the EPA. The active ingredient in Centaura is Picaridin, which, according to manufacturers, provides effective protection from mosquitoes for 12 hours, and protection from biting flies, stable flies, black flies, gnats, chiggers and sand flies for up to eight hours. Centaura comes in a non-aerosol 15-ounce spray bottle that is good for 8 to 15 horse and rider applications.
