Nouvelle Veterinary, Inc., announces the release of a new Cur-OST EQ IR formula for use in horses with insulin resistance or metabolic syndrome. The new EQ IR formula is based on a proprietary blend of blueberry, bilberry and noni fruit extracts that have shown in trials to aid in the management of blood glucose levels as well as providing a natural source of antioxidants for overall health. Manufacturers recommend combining the EQ IR formula with EQ Green or EQ PLUS in order to reduce the inflammatory process that commonly occurs with glucose metabolism conditions that can lead to laminitis. EQ IR comes in a powdered blend for use as a daily supplement.
