New and Improved Popular ATV Loader Back on the Market

By popular demand, the original hydraulic front-end loader and implement system for ATVs are back on the market with a new name and a new company behind them. Originally sold as ‘The Groundhog’ until 2007, this newer and improved line of ATV accessories is now called the Wild Hare ATV Implement System, available online at wildharemfg.com.

The Wild Hare front-end loader and 3-point hitch – complete with a 44” bucket, a 34” pallet fork, a 48” cultivator, and a two-position 57” disc – comprise the largest all-in-one ATV implement system available. Perhaps most importantly, the only fully hydraulic system available.

Front and rear hydraulics make the Wild Hare system stronger and safer than other ATV power tools for digging, lifting, hauling, plowing, leveling–and many other jobs that used to require an expensive skid-steer or tractor. The Wild Hare system fits on most ATVs and comes as an all-in-one package, or in exclusive packages for horse and hobby farm owners, sportsmen/hunters, country living enthusiasts and landscapers.

The first new Wild Hare orders shipped in April 2015, several months after Wild Hare Manufacturing bought out the product line from Concord Equipment, which sold approximately 600 Groundhogs through retailers across the U.S. before closing due to business issues unrelated to product performance. Satisfied customers have continued to generate inquiries during the system’s seven years off the market. Wild Hare Manufacturing pledges to support customers who bought products from the previous manufacturer.

Recent testimonial from a real customer:

“Best wishes to Wild Hare and thanks for a great product!” John Ramp of Newport, Pennsylvania, wrote to Wild Hare Manufacturing in May. “I bought my loader when I was moving into my new house. It’s fantastic! I’ve used it to spread topsoil on my half-acre front yard, limestone for a 700-foot driveway, mulch, sand, firewood, snow–you name it. It paid for itself in the first six months.”

Made of high-strength steel, the Wild Hare system is extremely robust and stable. Double-acting hydraulic cylinders lift 300 pounds up to a height of 60 inches and dig with equal downward pressure–not just gravity like cheaper ATV buckets. A simple toggle switch operates both the loader and 3-point hitch with power from a 12-volt battery, while suspension locks and a rear-mounted hydraulic power pack provide critical balance and stability. The loader or 3-point hitch can be installed in as little as 45 minutes, with attachments changeable in one minute.

Highly maneuverable in tight spaces, the Wild Hare system enables ATV owners to do landscaping, groundskeeping, stable cleaning, hauling, snow removal and other medium-duty jobs without tearing up their property. With other tools planned for introduction including a blade and post-hole digger, Wild Hare gives ATV owners an implement system they can grow with.

“Getting these work-horse implements back in production and seeing how they literally change the way people live and work is extremely gratifying,” said Michael Bensen, CEO of Wild Hare Manufacturing. “The Wild Hare implement system is good news for anyone with a tough job to do but can’t spend ten grand or more on a skid-steer or tractor. Wild Hare gets turns that weekend toy of an ATV into a hard-working tool at the flick of a switch–and won’t tear up your turf like tractors sometimes do.”

The Wild Hare loader is priced at $3,695 alone, and $5,739 with the three-point hydraulic hitch and all other implements, plus shipping. Orders take approximately two to four weeks to arrive.
