100 Day Horse Challenge Offers VIP Tickets to 2015 Kentucky Derby

The 100 Day Horse Challenge, sponsored by Time to Ride, is offering an exciting sweepstakes to all Hosts and newcomers who take part in the Challenge. One lucky winner will receive four VIP tickets to the 2015 Kentucky Derby, provided by the National Thoroughbred Racing Association.

The sweepstakes is open to all registered Hosts, who will be welcoming new participants to horse activities through entry level experiences hosted between June 1 and Sept. 8, 2014. Hosts must register by May 15 at www.timetoride.com. New horse enthusiasts who take part in these events throughout the Challenge are also automatically eligible. “We are excited to announce this outstanding prize package for next year’s Kentucky Derby as part of the 100 Day Horse Challenge. The thrill of horse racing is appealing to lifelong equestrians as well as newcomers to horse activities, and our hope is to share this opportunity with as many people as possible,” explained Patti Colbert, Time to Ride spokesperson. The sweepstakes winner will be announced after the completion of the Challenge.

The goal of the 100 Day Horse Challenge is to increase awareness of the benefits of horse activities across the United States by aiming to engage at least 100,000 new people with an introductory horse experience. The Challenge is open to members of the horse industry who have the capacity to support this goal, including stables, instructors, clubs and associations, veterinarians, racetracks, horse shows and other events, rescues, feed and retail stores, and therapeutic riding stables. Cash prizes up to $25,000 will be awarded, along with stable equipment, feed, veterinary supplies, and more. ​

Time to Ride is an initiative of the American Horse Council’s marketing alliance, formed to connect people with horses.
