4-Star Trailers, Inc. began their legacy in April of 1984; we will be 31 years old next one month!

This is a feat we are definitely proud of. Our dedication from day one to ensure customer safety and satisfaction has led us to produce a custom product that reaches the level of durability and innovation that qualifies it to be a 4-Star Trailer.

Sometimes we are not sure our customers understand exactly why we do what we do. Why are we the best in the industry? Why have we been around as long as we have? Why do some of our customers have two or three 4-Stars at one time?

We maybe should have published a blown out 30th Year Anniversary blog, but here it is a year late! Over the next few months, we want to remind and reassure our customers who we are and why we are proud to build their next custom trailer!

The structure of a 4-Star Trailer, from the bumper pull to the commercial hauler, from the Runabout Series to our Deluxe Model, all have certain things in common that make a 4-Star perform and last the way they do. Here is one example: Top and Bottom Rails.

On any trailer, the Top and Bottom Rails, are a major factor that contribute to a trailers overall strength. 4-Star was the first in the trailer market to extrude the running board and bottom rail together as a single piece. While others continue to weld running boards to their bottom rails, our integrated design adds stiffness to this important structural member while minimizing the number of welds visible on the bottom rail.
