American Horse Council Appoints New Time To Ride Marketing Firm

The American Horse Council is pleased to announce that Martino Flynn, LLC, of Rochester, New York, has been selected to manage and market the Time To Ride program for 2018.

The American Horse Council (AHC) is pleased to announce that Martino Flynn, LLC, of Rochester, New York, has been selected to manage and market the Time To Ride program for 2018. Established in 2012 and funded by AHC’s Marketing Alliance, a coalition of equine businesses and organizations, Time to Ride was created to attract non-horse owners to horses and horseback riding.

The foundation of the program is the Time To Ride Challenge, which provides dedicated marketing support and cash prizes to participating barn owners. This gives equine professionals a unique opportunity to expose a brand-new audience to horses, leading to new customers and ultimately new horse owners.

AHC President Julie Broadway said, “We are pleased to partner with Martino Flynn on the Time To Ride program. They have a very strong background in consumer marketing across a number of brands and organizations, including Boy Scouts and the golf industry. Their equine industry experience includes award-winning campaigns for Absorbine and Equine America, making them particularly well-suited to manage Time To Ride.”

Martino Flynn has appointed Molly O’Brien as account/program manager for Time To Ride. O’Brien is a lifelong horse enthusiast and owner, and her professional background includes editorial and marketing communications positions with the American Morgan Horse Association, International Arabian Horse Association, Equine Journal and Absorbine.

“I am very excited at this opportunity to help promote and grow the equine industry,” said O’Brien. “Regardless of breed or discipline, we need to join together to support the horse business overall, and Time To Ride is meant to do just that by introducing people to horses at a grassroots level. I look forward to working with barn owners and the Marketing Alliance partners to build on the Time To Ride foundation already created, and help the program flourish.”

Members of AHC’s Marketing Alliance, which provides the funding for Time To Ride, include: Active Interest Media, American Association of Equine Practitioners, American Horse Council, American Quarter Horse Association, Boehringer Ingelheim, Farnam, Merck, Morris Media Network, The Right Horse Partnership, Platinum Performance, Purina, US Equestrian, and Zoetis. Additional support is provided by Absorbine, America’s Mustang/Extreme Mustang Makeover, American Paint Horse Association, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Colorado State University, Equibrand, Horse Illustrated and Young Rider, and National Reining Horse Association.
