A who’s who of the natural horsemanship world will be gathering in Ocala, Florida, on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2014, for a Gala benefiting the Parelli Education Institute. The event will be held at the private ranch of Linda and Pat Parelli. The evening will include a horsemanship demonstration, luxury hors d’oeuvres and numerous door prizes, including a Parelli Saddle, a deluxe red light kit from Photonic Health LLC and the first place winner’s choice of either a 6-stall MDBarnmaster custom barn, or $10,000 cash.
“The proceeds will go a long way in supporting our numerous education efforts,” explained Institute Executive Director Lori Northrup. Funds raised will go toward:
• Scholarships for advanced students studying at the Parelli Education Institute campus in Pagosa Springs, Colorado;
• Developing adventure youth horsemanship camps for teens;
• Three therapeutic horsemanship clinics to be held across the U.S. in 2014;
• A special first-time workshop for those involved in horse welfare and rescue missions in March, 2014 in Utah.
Northrup added, “This is an event that really brings out the top supporters in our industry as well as those who simply love horses and want to support educational efforts that lead to a better world for horses and humans.” For more information about the Gala, go to www.ParelliInstitute.org or call 855-687-7273 to order a ticket.
