Certified Horsemanship Association Has a New Monthly Educational Webinar Series

The Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) will be starting a brand new educational webinar series this month on Friday, Jan. 31, at noon EST. Each month it will feature one guest presenter focusing on an educational equine topic that will benefit riding instructors, barn managers, equine facility owners and will be for CHA members and non-members.

Preparing to Become a CHA Certified Horseback Riding Instructor is being presented by Laura Jones, Master CHA Instructor and Clinic Instructor, on Friday, Jan. 31, at Noon EST.

Laura Jones has a diverse background of teaching experience including technical training, horseback riding instruction and college instruction. Laura has been a CHA certified Master Instructor since 1999, a Clinic instructor since 2005, and a Regional Director with CHA since 2010. Laura values safety and education, and enjoys creating and teaching lessons that are rewarding and fun for students, instructors and horses. Laura has also owns and operates an equestrian lesson and trail business, and is presently completing a Masters degree in Education, specializing in online education.

In this webinar, Laura describes what happens in a CHA Instructor Certification Clinic and explains how instructor candidates can prepare for their clinic in order to maximize their ability to achieve instructor certification.

The purpose of CHA is to promote excellence in safety and education for the benefit of the horse industry. CHA certifies instructors and trail guides, accredits equestrian facilities, publishes educational manuals, produces educational horsemanship DVDs and hosts regional and international conferences.
