Two New Clinic Weekends Hit Palm Partnership Training’s Michigan Royal Palm Ranch

Palm Partnership Training’s Lynn Palm is happy to announce two new clinic topics being offered for the first time at the Royal Palm Ranch in Bessemer, Michigan. On consecutive weekends, July 18-19 is a Dressage Ride A Test Clinic followed by a schooling dressage competition July 20, and July 25-26 is a Natural Obstacles Clinic followed by a Trail Challenge. With the success of these clinics at her winter location in Ocala, Florida, Lynn is anxious to bring them to the Midwest.

Similar to all of Palm Partnership Training’s Ride Well Clinics, these weekends are open to riders of all disciplines and levels on many different breeds of horses including classroom, ground and under saddle sessions. The specialty of these clinics is that the dressage principles taught can be put into use during an English or Western Dressage test or for trail riders over natural obstacles on a trail challenge course.

An added bonus of this educational experience is the opportunity to explore the area and enjoy all that the Northwoods of Upper Michigan has to offer. Spend July 21-24 walking the trails to majestic water falls along the Black River Scenic Byway, visit the top of Copper Peak, the largest ski flying jump in the Northern Hemisphere, or just taking in the beauty of Lake Superior and its beaches at Black River Harbor all within six miles of the Ranch. Riders can also take advantage of the beautiful trails on the extensive area surrounding the 100-acre ranch. For a little more adventure, take a day trip to the harbor town of Bayfield which is the gateway to the Apostle Islands National Park or just stay close to the Ranch for a round of golf or a fishing expedition.
