Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association Kicks Off Its 20th Anniversary Year

The Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association Winter U.S. Championships will take place Feb. 12-15 at Horseshoe Park in Queen Creek, Arizona. Bishop Trailers Sales and Sports Truck RV will be bringing you this 7x point’s event with a 50% class payback, $10,000 added money in the Montana Silversmiths’ Double Down, $1,000 added to the Cimarron Eliminator competition and $500 added to the Taylor’s & Co. Rifle class.

In addition, the Platinum Performance Senior Incentive program for 2014 will be introduced with a 50% payback. CMSA will escrow another $20 per entry and put it into the Senior Incentive Fund that will be paid out to the Senior Incentive winners at the 2014 CMSA Tony Lama World Championship in Amarillo, Texas. There will be two gender split Divisions, Men’s and Women’s Limited (S1, S2 and S3) and Men’s and Women’s Open (S4, S5 and S6). The first four stages of the main match will be used as qualifiers for the Senior Incentive Finals. The Senior Incentive Finals will become one of the featured events in the Starline Showcase of Champions. The top five qualifiers in each of the four categories will be called back for the finals.

All CMSA Wrangler National Patriot Points earned at this event go toward qualification for the Tony Lama World Championships in Amarillo, Texas, in October of 2014.

Competition will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Center located at 20464 East Riggs Road, Queen Creek, Arizona. Admission is free.
