June 18, 2013 – Recognized for its distinct green and yellow colors by ranchers around the world, John Deere and Company is making an impact on cutting horse operations and has renewed its support as sponsor of the John Deere Open and the National Cutting Horse Association.

“The cutting horse is one of the most unique athletes, and the fact that John Deere can play a significant role in each of the NCHA shows is critical to our relationship,” said Tammy Lee, John Deere Tactical Sales Manager. “We truly value the relationship to the organization and the membership, and we really enjoy the interaction at the events.”

Since its founding in 1837, John Deere has seen a great many changes in its business, its products and its services. Change always comes with opportunity. And John Deere has always been ready and willing to embrace it. Yet, through it all, John Deere is still dedicated to those who are linked to the land – farmers and ranchers, landowners, builders and loggers. And John Deere has neither outgrown, nor forgotten, its founder’s original core values. Those values determine the way we work, the quality we offer and the unsurpassed treatment you get as a customer, investor and employee.

John Deere will be sponsor at all major NCHA shows throughout the year, including the John Deere Open Division at the Super Stakes and Futurity. In addition, Deere will be providing tractors for use during NCHA shows.

“John Deere has developed a strong presence in the sport of cutting,” said NCHA President Ernie Beutenmiller Jr. “And we’re glad to have them on board for their continued support to the NCHA.”
