Duralock’s PVCu fencing is used at world-renowned racecourses, training centers, polo grounds and equestrian facilities in 33 countries across the world and now has an office in Kentucky.

Duralock, the world’s leading supplier of PVCu fencing, today announces the launch of Duralock North America, LLC. From its headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, Duralock North America will provide the US and Canadian equestrian, sports and commercial markets direct access to Duralock’s high-performance PVCu fencing.

The launch Duralock North America—conducted through an exclusive license agreement with Michele Fischer—bolsters Kentucky’s credentials as a center for equestrian innovation and a growing hub for international business. Duralock has revolutionized equestrian rail and fencing systems by vastly improving safety conditions for horse, rider and spectators. Its fencing is already used at world-renowned racecourses, training centers, polo grounds and equestrian facilities in 33 countries across the world.

Michele Fischer, who will serve as Managing Director, operates an international consulting firm, Darting Star, specializing in horse racing operations and wagering systems. Fischer said: “We are very excited about expanding the use of the world’s leading high performance PVCu fencing across the equestrian, sports and commercial markets in Kentucky and beyond. The launch of Duralock North America is an opportunity to modernize and enhance fencing performance across a range of commercial applications, with a special emphasis on safety and sustainability.”

Duralock’s award-winning PVCu fencing offers many benefits over traditional fencing thanks to its patented dual-chamber design, which makes suitable for use on all surfaces. Its superior performance offers unrivaled safety thanks to a unique combination of strength and flexibility in the event of collision. Easy installation, low ongoing maintenance, and ease of cleaning further support PVCu as the right choice for today’s fencing needs.

The products—made from 80% recycled PVCu—are available as permanent or removable installations. Outside North America, Duralock’s fencing products are used in a range of different sporting arenas, including soccer, rugby, and cricket stadiums, as well as other commercial applications including moveable crowd barriers. The dedicated presence in the United States and Canada will allow for expansion of these applications in this region.

Jonathon McGovern, Duralock Group CEO, said: “The launch of Duralock North America marks a significant chapter for the Duralock Group and our continued expansion into the U.S. We will leverage our existing reputation in the U.S. horse racing market, continuing to work with the leading racecourses in the country while showing how PVCu fencing has many more applications beyond the horse racing sector.”

Tony Reinstedler also joins the new team as a Sales Agent for Duralock North America. Tony is a former Thoroughbred horse trainer, who consults on bloodstock purchases and provides racing stable management services. During his training career, Tony has been the leading trainer at Churchill Downs and Turfway Park. He trained many graded stakes winners and developed champions Prairie Bayou and Saint Liam. His expertise and dedication will be invaluable in delivering the sort of experience Duralock’s customers have come to expect all across the world.
