English Riding Supply Recalls Ovation Protégé Equestrian Helmets Due to Impact Injury Hazard

English Riding Supply recalled the Ovation Protégé helmet due to these safety concerns.

On Feb. 9, 2023, English Riding Supply recalled Ovation Protégé equestrian helmets manufactured from December 2020-December 2022, which was sold in multiple colors and finishes. The Ovation Protégé helmet is Safety Equipment Institute (SEI) certified to the ASTM F1163-15 standard.

The company recommends that consumers immediately stop use of the helmets and return them to the retailer they were purchased from, or any Ovation authorized dealer for a free replacement- Ovation Deluxe Schooler helmet- or they may contact English Riding Supply for a $60 refund. The replacement or refund will only be provided upon the return of the recalled helmet, or proof of its destruction.
