Gala of the Royal Horses to Perform at BreyerFest Silver Jubilee

Gala of the Royal Horses brings its breathtaking performance to BreyerFest Silver Jubilee to headline BreyerFest’s Saturday evening Celebration of Horses on July 12, 2014, at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. Famed trainer Rene Gasser will create a special showcase for BreyerFest’s 25th annual event based on his world-renowned equestrian tour that has just recently begun touring in the United States.

The Celebration of Horses event will highlight BreyerFest’s 25th anniversary of the largest model horse collector festival and horse fair in the world. Gala of Royal Horses captures the amazing beauty and maneuvers of the baroque horse breeds of Europe favored by Royalty with performances that include Andalusians, Friesians, Lipizzaners and Arabian stallions. These extraordinary and romantic horses are some of the most celebrated in history, favored for centuries by royalty, warriors and bullfighters and this performance will celebrate the tradition, athleticism and grace of these revered creatures.

“We are delighted and honored to bring Gala of the Royal Horses to BreyerFest,” said Tony Fleischmann, President of Reeves International. “We take great pride at Breyer in associating with the best, and we are very pleased to welcome Rene Gasser and his superb company for the 25th edition of BreyerFest.”

For the past 10 years, Gala of the Royal Horses has been touring abroad, and in 2014 made the decision to bring its show to North America for a nationwide tour. Gala of the Royal Horses will present a showcase of their full tour event at BreyerFest as the highlight of an equestrian showcase that is being produced by Tommie Turvey of Equine Extremist Entertainment and will also feature a performance by the extreme entertainer. Tommie Turvey, renowned as a performer, clinician and horse trainer to the stars, has assembled an all-star cast of performers who will demonstrate daring feats of horsemanship including Roman riding, liberty and other stunts.
