Gary Lane to Appear at Equine Affaire

Master gaited horse clinician and bestselling author, Gary Lane, announced that he will appear at the Equine Affaire, April 10-13, 2014, in Columbus, Ohio. In clinics and at trailheads, Gary has started and trained hundreds of gaited horses including Tennessee Walking Horses, Missouri Fox Trotters, Mountain Horses, Paso Finos, Icelandics and many more. Gary will demonstrate how to cure the pace and hollow back horse, bitting, saddle fit, and riding for easy gaiting.

Gary’s best-selling book, From the Rail to the Trail, has sold thousands of copies around the world and has been successfully used to educate riders on how to achieve the signature smooth gait of both trail and show horses. In addition to his book, Gary’s DVD, Understanding The Gaited Trail Horse provides training methods using a man-made obstacle course and natural trail obstacles in the Daniel Boone National Forest. The DVD showcases several horses learning to find a calm mind before, during and after trail rides.

Gary has also created several specialty tack items for the gaited horse including the Freedom Bit, Freedom Bridle and the uniquely designed Lady Lite saddle which comfortably fits female riders and the back of the gaited horse.
