Sept. 4, 2013 — The rapidly expanding Kentucky-based company Hounds and Horses is proud to be a nominee for a 2013 Martha Stewart American Made Award. Founded in 2012 by Kentucky natives Kathy Campbell, Kenni Ward and Karen Boden, the all-natural dog and horse treats have rapidly become favorites of pet owners nationwide.

The Martha Stewart American Made Awards annually provide recognition to producers of handmade goods produced by the American community. The Audience Choice Grand Prize Award winner as nominated by the general public will receive $10,000 to further his or her business and a trip to New York City to attend the American Made Awards and the Workshop.

“Hounds and Horses is delighted to be a nominee for this prestigious award,” said Campbell. “As a small business winning this award would enable us to further our goals for expansion around the country by allowing us to increase production levels of our treats.”

Voting for the awards is in two stages. Category voting runs now through Sept. 13, 2013, and Grand Prize Voting runs Sept. 17-23, 2013. Each email address can vote up to six times per day. To vote for Hounds and Horses, please visit http://www.marthastewart.com/americanmade/nominee/82751.
