HRTV, The Network for Horse Sports, further expanded its scope in the horse sports world when it recently unveiled a revealing interview with music legend Shania Twain, entitled “Shania: The Love of Horses,” on its expansive online site www.HRTV.com.
HRTV caught up with the great international superstar, and discussed her devout love for horses, at her current “Shania: Still the One” shows at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Twain began a two-year residency at Caesars Palace a year ago, and announced the shows by riding a horse down the fabled Vegas Strip.
Along with the interview, both bonus and behind-the-scenes footage may be found at www.hrtv.com/shania.
The sit-down with Shania illuminates her intense passion for horses, and highlights her friendship with legendary actress–and fellow horse lover–Bo Derek. Derek encouraged, and refined, Shania’s utilization of horses into her shows.
HRTV.com’s interview includes an interview with Derek, encapsulating Twain’s affection for horses, as well as comments from trainer Ramon Becerra, who conditioned Twain’s horses for the show.
The Vegas show is topped by Twain’s serenading of her on-stage horse, Slick, to her popular “Still the One” presentation. In the HRTV.com interview, Shania characterizes it as her most “precious” moment in the show.
