The Network for Horse Sports, will present equestrian fans with live streaming coverage, via HRTV.com, of the prestigious Alltech National Horse Show, beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 8 a.m. ET.
One the world’s oldest, and most renowned horse shows, the Alltech National Horse Show event runs for six days, through Sunday, Nov. 3, and HRTV.com’s daily coverage will commence at 8 a.m. ET.
The event is held at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, for the third consecutive year, and it features outstanding competitions in the hunter, jumper and equitation divisions.
Regarded as the proving grounds for equestrian champions, this year’s show offers $850,000 in prize money during the week, and opens the ring to a variety of disciplines and classes.
HRTV.com will be an equestrian fan’s paradise for six days. The highlight of the week’s action comes on Saturday, Nov. 2, with streaming coverage of the $250,000 Alltech Grand Prix, beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Grand Prix is the ultimate challenge in equestrian show jumping and the top trophy awarded at the Alltech National Horse Show.
Other key competitions offered on HRTV.com during the weekend include: the $50,000 Lifeforce Puissance, featuring the world’s most courageous show jumpers, on Friday, Nov. 1, beginning at 5:15 p.m. ET; and the Alfred B. Maclay Finals, a proving ground for talented young jumpers, on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 7 a.m. ET.
