Julie Goodnight Announces her Horse Master Air Dates and Shows for 2014

Julie Goodnight announced the production of 16 new episodes of Horse Masterwhich will continue throughout 2014. The award-winning show, now in its seventh year on the air, has a new timeslot on cable’s FamilyNet—Mondays at 5:30 p.m. ET. Horse Master airs at its usual primetime spot during RFD-TV’s horse-training block–Monday nights at 10:30 p.m. ET–and repeats each week’s episode Friday mornings and Saturday nights for easy West-Coast viewing.

Horse Master can now be seen in HD for RFD-TV viewers who watch through Dish Network (where RFD-TV can be added to any viewing package for a monthly fee).

Here’s the 2014 Horse Master schedule—with shows recorded at Julie’s ranch in Salida, Colorado, and at the Berkshire Equestrian Center in Richmond, Massachusetts. Show topics cover a variety of training, horsemanship and behavior issues including: unloading from the trailer; bonding with a new horse; slowing down a fast horse; working with an “off-the-track” Thoroughbred; training for flying lead changes; working with mustangs. Dale Myler, founder of Myler Bits, joins Goodnight for two shows and helps a dressage rider find an approved bit for showing; he also helps a riding instructor find the best bit for her Western school horse.
