Horse owners in the western United States have suffered through another late summer/early fall of wildfires. That’s not to say there aren’t fires in all parts of the country, but the major fires being fought by the USDA Forest Service show 34 current active wildfires in the west.
You can keep track of wildfires across the United States and in your area through a mapping system available from USDA Forest Service website.
