Los Angeles National Under New Ownership

Langer Equestrian Group is pleased to announce that its flagship horse shows, the National Preview and the Los Angeles National held the first two weeks of November at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, are under new ownership effective immediately. Ali Nilforushan has purchased the two shows. “Larry [Langer] has done amazing things with these two shows, and I see great opportunity to take them to the next level,” said Nilforushan.

“Although I wasn’t actively looking to sell the shows, I had several inquiries” explained Langer. “I really liked Ali’s vision and his desire to use the shows to enhance our hunter/jumper sport.”

Currently the shows are host to a number of prestigious medal finals, championships and an FEI World Cup Qualifier at the Los Angeles National. Nilforushan looks to enhance current special classes and plans to bring more prestige to the shows in general. Jumper riders will be pleased to know that Nilforushan plans even more focus on the jumper classes and events. “I won my first major grand prix at the LA National,” said Nilforushan, “and the crowd there is amazing. I feel I can really build on the foundation Larry established, and I am excited to be working with him.”

To aid in the transition, the LEG management team will assist Nilforushan in this year’s shows and will remain available in a consulting capacity in future years. “I am confident that my team can work with Ali and his designated people to help him achieve his vision for the Preview and the LA National,” said Langer. “I am excited to see these shows grow even more in stature.”
