Mounted Shooters of America take center stage at Road to the Horse 2015

Road to the Horse is proud to announce a partnership with Mounted Shooters of America. Mounted Shooters of America (MSA) will compile their first ever All-Star Team to perform during Road to the Horse 2015 based on their highest qualifying riders from the MSA 2014 World Championship. Fans will be able to watch top competitors compete head to head in multiple rounds, in the ultimate shootout.

MSA is a national organization dedicated to holding the finest, most exciting mounted shooting competitions in the US and beyond. Founded in 2001, MSA is dedicated to earning a reputation of integrity, fairness and continuing excitement generated by innovating and pioneering traits within the sport of mounted shooting.

“The MSA is proud to represent the sport of Mounted Shooting at Road to the Horse 2015,” states MSA CEO Karin Page. “The All Star Shootout will bring the best in the sport together for an exciting competition of speed, accuracy and horsemanship. We look forward to introducing the sport of Mounted Shooting to a packed arena at the Kentucky Horse Park during the most prestigious equine event of the year.”

In 2015, fans will witness the richest horsemanship event in history, when a record-setting $100,000 purse will be awarded to the winner of Road to the Horse 2015. One lucky fan will also walk away from the Kentucky Horse Park in 2015 with a check for $10,000.

Road to the Horse 2014 Champion (and Wild Card Champion) Jim Anderson will return in 2015 to defend his title. Anderson will be joined by three-time undefeated Road to the Horse Champion Chris Cox and the 2015 Wild Card Champion.

Road to the Horse 2015 will return to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, on March 26-29, 2015. Road to the Horse 2015 tickets are now available online at www.RoadtotheHorse.com or by calling 877-772-5425.

A competition untouched by others, Road to the Horse dares elite horse trainers to create a trusting partnership with an untouched 3-year-old American Quarter Horse. The test begins with the selection, choosing a horse from the Remuda from the 6666 Ranch; competitors have just three days to build a working relationship. With disruptive sounds, exhilarating sights and adrenaline-pumping time constraints each competitor must face the final trial, an obstacle course. Only one can walk away with the World Championship of Colt Starting title.
