Mustang Heritage Foundation Membership Community Launched in March

The Mustang Nation, a membership community developed by the Mustang Heritage Foundation, is a new way for mustang enthusiasts to show their support for wild horse adoption! “We are excited to offer the MHF membership program. It’s a way for us to give back and provide a sense of community,” said Kali Sublett, executive director of the Foundation.

The mission of the Mustang Heritage Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public, nonprofit organization, is to increase the adoption of Bureau of Land Management mustangs across the United States. The Foundation created Extreme Mustang Makeover events to showcase the recognized value of Mustangs through a national training competition. The organization also created the Trainer Incentive Program and Youth and Yearling Mustang Challenges to raise awareness about America’s mustangs. The Mustang Nation is the Foundation’s latest program to continue its mission of wild horse adoption. Since 2007, MHF has placed over 5,000 mustangs into adoptive homes.

With an annual paid membership of $35, Mustang Nation participants will receive ticket and merchandise discounts, a member bumper sticker and an official membership card to be used to redeem benefits. Members will also have access to an exclusive web page.

Membership dues paid to the Mustang Heritage Foundation are 100% tax deductible and can be considered a charitable contribution on individual tax returns. Dues and contributions received through the Mustang Nation will be applied to continuation of MHF programs and events. For more information, visit www.themustangnation.org.
