Attendees and exhibitors of the Horse Expo Pomona, the nation’s finest horse expo, will be in for a pleasant surprise as the Fairplex is making welcoming improvements to the expo grounds for the upcoming Horse Expo Pomona, held Friday through Sunday, Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2015.

“We are contracted with the Fairplex through 2018 and will continue beyond, as the Expo and the facility continue to work together on this important project,” said Horse Expo Pomona President, Miki Nelsen. “I am confident these improvements that are currently underway will enhance the experience for everyone involved, from the exhibitors and the attendees to the rider participants and their horses.”

A sneak peek into some of the footprint changes at the Fairplex includes a new entry gate that will allow closer parking. The main horse arena and the practice arena will be moved closer to the Expo halls, which will allow for better flow and easier access to all aspects of the Expo.

“With the changes we made, attendees of the Horse Expo will find everything they want to see–demonstrations, seminars, shopping–within a better proximity to one another. It will make the experience more enjoyable and more accessible,” said Michael Chee, Fairplex spokesman.

Horse Expo Pomona offers something for every horse enthusiast. Popular returning attractions California Classic, Young Rider Park, Breed Revelation, Trail Symposium, University, Ultimate Super Horse, and the Great American Truck Display.

Over 300 exhibits will offer the latest products and services from riding apparel, tack, nutrition, horse supplies and trailers to art, jewelry, equipment and items for your home and ranch.

Horse Expo Pomona takes place Friday through Sunday, Jan. 30-Feb. 1 at the Fairplex, 1101 W. McKinley Avenue, Pomona. Show hours are 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., daily. Plenty of parking is available and located at Gate 17 off McKinley Ave.

Get your early bird Expo tickets now and save. Buy online through Dec. 24 and pay $13 per day. Then from Dec. 25 through Feb. 1 online tickets will be $15 each per day. Tickets at the door will be $18.

Tickets for children 13 years and under are $5 per day, and children under six are admitted free.
