North American Western Dressage Year-End TRAX Winners Named

North American Western Dressage (NAWD) congratulates the winners of its 2015 TRAX year-end awards program. More than 250 registered to test their horsemanship skills in a variety of dressage-based categories.

NAWD TRAX—Total Recognition for Accomplishing Xcellence—is a worldwide competition and awards program for Open, Amateur, Youth and teams of riders. Entering its fourth year in 2016, NAWD TRAX rewards exhibitors for their accomplishments in pursuit of a deeper relationship with their horses through the Western dressage. The TRAX program brings competitions to the exhibitor, offering opportunities in Western dressage, trail, groundwork, freestyle and—new in 2016—traditional dressage and ranch horse Western dressage.

“We are so pleased with the response that we have gotten so far and we continue to streamline the TRAX program to make it more accessible and user-friendly. For 2016 we are offering automatic score entry for our virtual show participants and have upgraded the teams program to give team members more options. TRAX will also feature a new, transparent system that will allow competitors to view their scores at any time.”

Congratulations to the following exhibitors, who placed at the top of their respective categories in 2015. NAWD is distributing more than $3,000 in prizes this year, including buckles for TRAX Teams and Versatility champions; a special thanks goes to Pure Harmony Equine Apparel for their donation of leather halters with nameplates and gift certificates for the high-point winners in each TRAX category.
