NRHA Development Internship Offered

The National Reining Horse Association’s (NRHA) Marketing & Development Department offers several internship opportunities each year. The department is currently taking applications for interns interested in gaining experience with the Association’s development programs. The first opportunity is during the NRHA Derby in June while the second is during the NRHA Futurity & Adequan North American Affiliate Championship Show that starts in late November. Applications are now being accepted for these opportunities. The deadline to apply is May 1.

The Development Internship encompasses work with Affiliates, Youth, Reining Horse Sports Foundation (RHSF), and Sire & Dam programs. Applicants must be willing to assist with all functions of the departments listed including early mornings and length days, willing to work closely with youth members and leaders, be creative, energetic, patient and demonstrate an interest in the livestock or horse industry.

Interns who are chosen to work during the NRHA Derby Show may be offered a summer internship based at the NRHA headquarters after the event. Determining factors will include budget, work ethic, reliability, and performance during the previously scheduled internship.

More information on this opportunity, including the application and contact information, can be found at nrha.com on the Careers page which can be found by clicking on the About tab.
