As part of the public outreach by the University of Pennsylvania, New Bolton Center, you are welcome to attend the First Tuesday Lecture Series on June 6, 2017. The lecture will be from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Alunni Hall at New Bolton Center.

The Recovery Pool: Defying Gravity after Orthopedic Surgery

Dr. Dean Richardson, Professor of Equine Surgery, will discuss New Bolton Center’s pioneering pool recovery system, the single best technique for anesthetic recovery of the seriously injured horse.

Dr. Richardson will present how and why the system works, along with case reports exemplifying the value of this method to recover horses from general anesthesia.

First Tuesday is a free monthly lecture series for horse owners and enthusiasts. Lectures are free and open to the public. Seating is limited. RSVP to Barbara Belt at 610-925-6500 or beltb@vet.upenn.edu.
