The leading equine digestive supplement SUCCEED® Digestive Conditioning Program® was featured in an episode of the popular television program Yellowstone. The show, starring Kevin Costner and an ensemble cast, and created by Taylor Sheridan, is now in its third season on the Paramount Network. SUCCEED was featured in Episode 8, which premiered this past Sunday, August 9.
SUCCEED was introduced into Yellowstone by Sheridan, after he personally began using the product on his own horses. Sheridan serves as a writer, director, and executive producer for the show. “I use SUCCEED on every horse I own and every horse we use on Yellowstone,” Sheridan said recently. “From improving body composition to coat to soundness, SUCCEED has noticeably improved the quality of my herd. During the episode, character Lloyd Pierce, portrayed by actor Forrie J. Smith, is direct-feeding a SUCCEED Oral Paste syringe to a horse. Jimmy Hurdstrom, played by actor Jefferson White, asks, “He doesn’t mind that?” “Hell no, he loves it,” Pierce responds. “It’s like ____ candy to him. Helps their guts….”
Yellowstone, which premiered in 2018, follows the fictional Dutton family, led by Kevin Costner’s character, John Dutton, and their large ranching operation. Horses are featured prominently in the show, often in various equestrian activities and sports, such as cutting and barrel racing.
