Blackburn Designs Hall of Fame Exhibit

Blackburn Architects P.C. partnered with the EQUUS Foundation to design a mobile exhibit for the Horse Stars Hall of Fame which will be on display for the first time at this year’s Fete Cheval Etoile. The Horse Stars Hall of Fame was established by the EQUUS Foundation and the United States Equestrian Federation to honor the contributions of amazing horses and celebrate their extraordinary talent and magical bond with people.

Blackburn Architects specializes in architectural design that is both aesthetically pleasing and respectful to its environment. Long before it became fashionable, Blackburn Architects used natural, local, and recycled materials in conjunction with the natural climate to create optimal living environments for horses. Healthy Stables by Design authored by John Blackburn, AIA, introduces the concepts of aerodynamic ventilation, strategic natural light, and passive solar heating and cooling into compelling horse barn designs ranging from exquisite to functional and everything in between. 100% of author proceeds go to equine charities.
