United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Announce RIDE ALERT as Official Membership Benefit for 2015

Ride Alert is very excited to announce that the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) has decided to offer their 30,000 Members a full 12 month family registration to the Ride Alert 24/7 Emergency ID Support Service, as a part of the USDF Member Perks Program for 2015. As a Member Perk Partner, Ride Alert is offering USDF members an initial family registration, free of charge, and a very generous discount off of the price of accompanying ID devices (wristbands).

Stephan Hienzsch, USDF Executive Director, said, “USDF is pleased to welcome Ride Alert as our newest Member Perk Partner. The Member Perks Program brings special USDF membership opportunities that are directly relevant to our members dressage interests and activities. Ride Alert will add to that diverse offering for 2015 by offering its Equestrian ID and Emergency Support service for Horse and Rider.”

Anita Hasbury-Snogles, Co-Founder, Ride Alert, USA, said, “We are looking forward to working closely with the USDF, to spread the word about Ride Alert and just how important it is for every equestrian to have a registration with us. No one wants to be involved in a horse riding accident, but unfortunately paramedics are called to riding accidents all too frequently each week. By joining Ride Alert you are allowing yourself to be identified quickly and for the emergency services to learn of any medical conditions or allergies that may affect your immediate treatment. It also means your family can be informed as soon as you’re found rather than being left worried at home–important any time around horses, riding in the Arena, or out on the trail–your friends can easily help you with just one call to our 24/7 support center.”

The United States Dressage Federation is the only national membership organization dedicated to dressage, a method of horse training in existence since ancient Greece and an Olympic sport since the inception of the modern Olympics in the late 1800s. Dedicated to education, recognition of achievement and promotion of dressage, USDF is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization with educational programs for judges and every level of rider and instructor, 125 affiliate local or regional clubs and an array of annual awards for excellence in competition. The national levels, Training Level through Fourth Level, are governed by the United States Equestrian Federation. The international levels are governed by the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI). We encourage you to read more about our history, competitive dressage, dressage training and the history of this wonderful sport.
