Kensington Protective Products, Inc. introduced both it’s All Around HD and Platinum Collections in November of 2013. This year Anthony Gatto, CEO and President of Kensington, wants to offer both of these high-quality blanket collections as a combo package with a neckwarmer to ensure full protection during even the harshest weather. Both collection combos will be available in two different weights: 180G- Medium Weight, 300G- Heavy Weight.
Our Platinum Collection winter turnouts are our top of the line blankets that come with all the bells and whistles while offering protection from mild to extreme winter conditions. The blanket is offered in Kensington’s own innovative SureFit design which has the ability to fit a variety horses ranging from narrow to broad. Our Platinum Collection comes in a premier 1680 Denier Ballistic Nylon Lami-Cell coated outer shell ensuring that your horse will be provided with the best waterproofing, breathability and wind protection available on the market. Our Platinum Collection comes with an adjustable snap-front, fully removable/replaceable leg and belly straps, detachable belly band and a detachable tail flap.
Our All Around HD Collection is a more economical blanket that still ensures that your horse is protected from the elements. Our All Around HD turnouts are offered in the European cut. Using 1200 Denier rip stop outer shell makes the fabric extremely durable and tear resistant allowing it to maintain high breathability. The highly breathable fabric aids in preventing condensation from body moisture ensuring your horse stays dry and comfortable. The combos are 3000mm waterproof making them both water and windproof by cutting wind-chill through dead air pockets within the insulation. Other features include high shoulder gussets for maximum freedom of movement; rolled nylon at the withers for padding, tail cover, and adjustable front buckle with keepers.
