Less than one year after the successful introduction of their Symphony collection of high-performance breeches, Tredstep Ireland today unveiled the Symphony ‘Nero’ breech designed to provide riders with exceptional value in an everyday breech. In keeping with Tredstep’s tradition of uniquely designed, quality products, the Nero breech is the next generation–featuring Motion Fit design and exquisite styling details for an MSRP of just $89.99. The Nero breech is available immediately in the U.S. from Dover Saddlery, and nationwide in March.

Riders will appreciate that the Nero breech incorporates the best elements of Tredstep’s signature Motion Fit Design, including the flattering fit of the Definition Waistband with a slimming effect that eliminates any pulling or gaps, and the Integrated Sock and Cuff, which elongates the leg and keeps breeches firmly in place under boots. The Nero is crafted of Tredstep’s exclusive Excell high performance fabric, featuring unique yarn construction that harnesses the natural goodness of cotton formulated with Lycra to ensure four way stretch, and with enhanced shape retention and advanced moisture wicking to keep the rider in complete comfort. The Nero is available in White, Tan, Smokie Pearl and Slate Blue.

“We understand that riders often like to have several pairs of breeches in their wardrobes–some that may be set aside for competition and some for schooling,” said Aidan Keogh, Tredstep Managing Director and chief designer. “Our goal with the Nero was to provide an affordable breech that is still beautifully designed, and an excellent quality for the show ring, yet suitable for every day wear use as well.”

In 1993, Irish entrepreneur and Three-Day Event rider Aidan Keogh saw the need for a better half chap, and set out to create his own. A former design student who studied fine arts, Keogh believed that he could improve the comfort and performance of riding wear, while respecting the traditions of a Centuries-old sport. His product eventually redefined the market and brought half-chaps to the mainstream where they are now standard equipment for every rider. Along the way he created Tredstep Ireland, a company driving innovation, but ever respectful of the traditional roots of equestrian sport. The company now offers a complete collection of clothing, boots, chaps and accessories including the newly released Symphony Collection of high performance breeches and the popular Renaissance Collection of boots, all designed to make the riding experience more enjoyable.
