As fall and winter riding arrives, new colors are released for the Beka and Kate knee patch breeches. Both have at their core a traditional woven fabric with a winter twist. A polyester twill outer fabric provides traditional looks and durability. Brushed rayon yarns are noticeably soft and cozy providing a warm and toasty feel next to skin, while Spandex provides essential stretch.
Produced by FITS, the leading equestrian apparel maker for rider athletes, Beka is featured in Chocolate and Kate in a new Oxford Grey Heather which is setting records for advance orders. Each style is distinctive with an embroidered snowflake on the center back belt loop. Kate has a slightly lower rise on its front zip style. Beka has a more moderate rise for its side zip design.
Sheryl Rudolph, FITS CEO and chief designer, reports that reaction to the new colors is pace-setting, but points out that the breeches’ success lies first in its fabric makeup assuring maximum cool weather riding comfort. Moreover, Rudolph notes the Chill Collection’s several benefits including a Powermesh lower leg for a sleek fit inside boots. Plus, a hidden “ab” panel and body sculpt engineering for a smoother figure. Both Kate and Beka are constructed with a seamless crotch panel for rider comfort.
FITS’ worldwide dealer network exceeds 200 fine outlets where Beka or Kate can be ordered in sizes XS (0-2); S (4-6); M (8-10); L (12-14) and XL (16-18). The breeches, priced at $164, are regularly worn by the growing number of FITS Riders, high level equestrians across multiple disciplines.
