She who has the most fun wins. It’s not just the FITS slogan, it’s who they are as a company, making riding personal, and supporting fellow women in their goal to enjoy their horses–and their life in and out of the saddle–to the fullest.
Nothing is more personal than losing your loved one to cancer, or battling it yourself. That’s why FITS designed a t-shirt to honor Halt Cancer at X, a program founded by Sarah Broussard to honor her mother Rebecca Broussard, founder of The Event at Rebecca Farm, who passed away from breast cancer in 2010.
The name Halt Cancer at X comes from dressage competition, in which competitors have to ride a series of movements of which the first is usually “halt at X,” X being an imaginary spot in the exact center of the arena.
The shirt is a soft, feminine t-shirt in a cheery bright pink, with a beautiful modern illustration of six horses and riders swirling around, with the line “She who has the most fun, wins!” A portion of the proceeds from each shirt sold goes directly to Halt Cancer at X.
In addition, a $5 parking donation is collected to benefit Halt Cancer at X each day at The Event at Rebecca Farm, a destination competition for eventers and fans held in Montana each summer. This year, it will be held July 24-27, 2014.
