Bayer HealthCare LLC Animal Health is introducing the “Your Ride With a Legend” educational program. This program is designed to give equine enthusiasts access to useful horse health information from Bayer and performance tips from a pair of world-class competitors, the “Legend Riders.”

Upon sign-up for the no-cost program, members have the opportunity to win a trip to one of two premiere equine events--the 2014 National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Futurity in Fort Worth, Texas, or the 2015 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by Land Rover in Lexington, Kentucky. These two VIP trips include meet-and-greets with the “Legend Riders” for the winners and their respective guests.

Horse enthusiasts will be automatically entered in the “Your Ride With a Legend” Sweepstakes by visiting www.YourRideWithaLegend.com and joining the program. Once enrolled, members will receive information on Bayer equine products, rebates and incentives, as well as performance and training tips from the “Legend Riders” each quarter. The first 500 members also will receive a branded Legend (hyaluronate sodium) Injectable Solution water bottle.

“We are constantly striving to be the go-to information source for equine veterinarians, horse owners and enthusiasts,” said Scott King, DVM, Equine Products Manager, Bayer HealthCare Animal Health. “The creation of the new 'Your Ride With a Legend' program, not only gives Bayer the opportunity to connect with horse owners, it also gives horse owners the opportunity to learn from, and even meet, some of the world’s best riders for a one-of-a-kind educational experience.”

The Legend Riders

As part of the “Your Ride With a Legend” program, Matt Miller and Lynn Symansky, two world-class equine professionals known as the “Legend Riders,” will provide information on the latest equine trends for members of the program, and will join Bayer at select equine events, serving as ambassadors of Bayer’s brand.

Miller is a professional cutting horse trainer and competitor from Poolville, Texas. He is a past NCHA Non-Pro Futurity champion and multiple NCHA aged event champion.

Joining Miller as a “Legend Rider” is Symansky, an accomplished international event competitor and instructor. Symansky was a gold medalist with the U.S. equestrian team in the 2011 Pan American Games.

“Every passionate horse owner shares a connection with their horses,” said Symansky. “As a professional trainer, instructor and competitor, I share that passion for horses. Joining Bayer’s ‘Legend Riders’ team will be a terrific opportunity to share my knowledge with others.”
