Purina has developed a new feed to address senior horse nutrition, Equine Senior Active Healthy Edge. The new feed is designed for active senior equines and is formulated with more calories from fat and a different balance of nutrients for horses that can still effectively chew and digest forage.

The feed includes the Purina Amplify Nugget, a high-fat, extruded particle that contains ingredients for an optimal fatty acid profile; an specially-formulated amino acid balance; and a blend of fiber sources including beet pulp.
