The Mikmar Company introduces the Mikmar Comfort Girth, which allows more freedom of movement and breathing. The girth incorporates a wide center Gibaud panel, a technical material made in France, with quality padded leather, stitching and roller buckles. Most elastic girths have elastic on both ends, but the Mikmar girth has placed the elastic where it is most beneficial to the horse—in the center, which allows the horse’s ribs to expand and contract without restriction. An additional safety strap is inner woven between the Gibaud panel to prevent riders from over-tightening the elastic fabric.

The hunter/jumper girth is $280 and the dressage version is $240.
