Sept. 9, 2013 — FITS, the leading brand for athletic equestrian apparel, has begun filling orders for a cool weather version of Treads made with Polartec WindPro fabric. Rubberized ink dots are uniquely distributed throughout the leg and seat in varying heights and concentrations. More at the points of saddle contact, less under the boot.
“Treads mimic our signature PerforMax breech only in reverse giving superb grip and control,” said Sales Director Mollie Wolfe Skopil. She added, “Far warmer than Power Stretch, durable, easy-care Treads WindPro will keep riders in the saddle no matter the weather.”
The engineered fabric provides plush insulating softness against the skin while a smooth, technical outer face is wind, water and grime resistant. The rubberized embossed dots stretch with the fabric, a 95% wicking polyester that manages moisture and chill, blended with 5% Spandex for four-way stretch and comfort.
The performance, full-seat breech is affordably priced at $154. Treads are stocked in Graphite or Taupe in sizes XS through XL. They can be purchased at some 200 worldwide dealers. Look for them on several FITS Riders.
